Pub in the Park festival - Marlow

What a fantastic event to kick off the Pub in the Park festival in the beautiful town of Marlow - the original home of the festival.

The three-day feast hosted by Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge brought together outstanding food, drink and live music - thrilling the crowds that arrived in anticipation for an exciting weekend.

The Black Storm team left for Buckinghamshire, eager to be back at the festival which was a much-loved part of the 2018 summer festival circuit.

Stocked with the full collection of the Black Storm range of beer and spirits, the customers were particularly keen on the exclusive IPA cans. The limited-edition cans only available at the Pub in the Park festival this year are filled with flavour; this dry hoppy beer has an intense citrus and floral taste, which went down a storm.

Alongside the IPA can, the seasonal beer Tropical Storm was again a popular choice, this extra pale ale, dry hopped with lemon flavours is the perfect beer for the sunnier weather; one customer commented saying Tropical Storm is a “refreshing brilliant beer."

Pitching up in the Artisan Market - a bustling area full of some of the finest food and drink independent companies, proved the ideal location. Noticeable neighbours included Mr Porky - producers of leading pork scratchings and NEAT London Dry Gin - headed up by Adam Woodyatt (AKA) Ian Beale from Eastenders.

Blessed with glorious sunshine, the crowds were drawn to the festival by promise of world-class chefs and music artists; chefs Marco Pierre White and Atul Kochhar were joined by The Kaiser Chefs, Jake Bugg and The Bluetones - providing a masterclass in entertainment.

Throughout the festival, the team shouted loud and clear about their love of great beer, sharing the inspiring Black Storm story, rising through craft beer market and having a brilliant time doing so.

The next stop on the #STORMinthepark tour is Leeds, located in Roundhay Park, hope to see more happy faces there.
