Pub in the park festival – Knutsford

For the third edition of the Pub in the Park summer tour Black Storm were welcomed with open arms to Knutsford in Cheshire, a lovely destination to continue the 2019 festival circuit.

As per, the Black Storm team left Whitley Bay early on Friday morning, excited for what the weekend would entail, fully stocked with the complete range of Black Storm beers and spirits, including Tropical and Summer Storm – easily the most popular festival beers thus far.

Despite the odd torrential rain shower, the crowds poured into the fest, equipped with ponchos, umbrellas and wellies, all keen to enjoy their weekends and get stuck into some of Black Storm beers.

For the first time ever the Black Storm team pitched up two stalls, one for Black Storm products and one for Autumn Brewing Co. products – our gluten-free range of beers and lagers.

This trial, separating the two brands was a calculated risk, which ultimately paid off as the festival goers loved the option of two different stalls. Autumn beers ALT BREW 1 and 2, proved to be high in demand, a pleasing sight prior the release of ALT BREW 3 later this month.

Last year, Black Storm took ownership of the gluten-free brewery and has offered customers who are unable to enjoy a traditional beer with an alternative option; without losing any taste.

As the curtain closed over another successful festival, the Black Storm team reflected on an action-packed weekend.

Paul Hughes, Managing Director of Black Storm summed the event as a “true festival experience in the rain, mud and sunshine, but again, another tremendously enjoyable weekend.”

The Pub in the Park tour continues at Royal Victoria in Bath on the 21st-23rd of June.
